Technique: Cracked Glass Technique

I love tulips! They are such a great Spring / Easter Flower! I just wish they would grow all summer long!

This is a fun and easy technique.

Step 1 Stamp your image on the card stock and color it in until you get it the way you want it to be.

Step 2 Using the Versamark Pad, cover the entire image. Sprinkle it with Extra Thick Embossing Powder and heat

Step 3 While this is still hot, sprinkle more Embossing Powder and heat again

Step 4 One more time.. The surface is going to be almost all liquid at this time.

Let it cool and put it in the freezer for about 5 minutes.

Step 5 As soon as you take it out of the freezer, crack it by bending it from different directions.

Step 6 Using a sponge, sponge Creamy Carmel ink over the surface so it gets into the cracks, then buff with a tissue. This makes the cracks more visible and enhances your cracked glass.
